MONSTER TRAITS
→ Mild bloodlust: On the most literal level. Blood isn't an end-all be-all yet, but a lack of it does drain his energy levels, which is generally hard for him to reconcile with. (Developing)

→ Predation instincts: He already had these but they're more animalistic in nature now. Heightened sense of smell, hearing and sight. A desire to hunt, etc. He is more primitive and savage-like than he is elegant — think of the Gangrel clan, for example. (Developing)

→ Fangs: What it sounds like. His bites tend to be more pleasurable than painful, and run the risk of breeding addiction. The pleasure is a blessing in disguise, and is inherently dangerous — it's easy for him to drink too much without either party noticing.

→ Superstrength/Superspeed (Developing; corresponds to bonds.)

→ Weakness to sunlight: Energy levels drained by sunlight, not at risk at dying from it yet. (Developing)

→ Increased libido: I mean, yeah. (Developing)

→ Megabat form: scaled down to a smaller size.
INFORMATION
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR NIER BELOW

(Brother) Nier is not an ordinary human; more specifically, he is a clone created to serve as a vessel for the savior of his world. Approximately 1000+ years ago, the end of the world had been on the horizon. A group of scientists backed by some of the wealthiest individuals a dying world had to offer would trick a homeless and orphaned 15 year old boy into becoming their guinea pig to save his younger sister. They had devised a plan to seperate the human race's souls from their bodies with the intention of recreating their bodies and returning them unto their souls in a more prosperous, livable world. Having been subjected to a lifetime's worth of torturous experimentation and isolation, only one man successfully underwent this process: the 15 year old boy they had taken. His name was Nier. He had now become humanity's last hope. They referred to him as the Shadowlord.

The Shadowlord's body had been recreated at long last. This Nier, the Nier you see now, was known as one of the Replicants: clones created to serve as vessels for the original human souls from that time ago. But the Replicants had gained sentience. Lives, personalities, thoughts and feelings of their own. This had extended to the Shadowlord's Replicant, Nier, who was created with the sole intention of forfeiting his body to the Shadowlord and allowing the true humans to prosper. He did not. He embarked on a quest to save his sister by slaughtering every last one of these souls, and killing their respective Replicants in the process. And then when the time came, and the truth came out, he killed the Shadowlord as well.

Nier had ultimately made a deal to give up his existence to save a woman who meant a great deal to him: Kainé. He vanished from the world without a trace, leaving behind the flowers he grew and nothing more. Any memory his loved ones had of him were lost as well. He would become Sleeping Beauty, otherwise known as the Memory Tree. This entity exists to record and retain all of the memories their world has to offer. The canon point I take him from takes place around 1-2 years after this, meaning he's been nonexistant and fulfilling the role of Sleeping Beauty for some time now.

In Aefenglom, I play with the idea that he and his soul have been reunited to form one body once and for all. Of course, this comes with a large caveat: he now retains the Shadowlord's memories as well, and is prone to struggling with the concept of who and what he is.
