☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Nier stands at approximately 6 foot 1 — he has a relatively muscular physique, as evidenced by the Shadowlord's model, but he tends to cover the majority of his skin for reasons in relation to his personal comfort. In spite of that, however, his upper torso is relatively scarred; there's a pronounced scar that stretches across his chest and right shoulder, alongside a variety of smaller ones that mark his back. His face, however, is more on the feminine side.
♚ SOUND: He's voiced by Koji Yusa! His voice is generally described as "gentle" and "calm". He's of a brotherly disposition, and his voice is typically on the softer and leveled side to convey as much. However, it lowers a register when he's feeling particularly bloodthirsty or angry and he has the capacity to sound like a distinctly different person. Apparently he's voiced by Ray Chase now so I have to update this welp.
♚ IC TRIGGERS: Rape and child sexual abuse will legitimately set him off due to his history as a rape victim and child sex worker. Please keep this in mind. It's an incredibly sensitive topic for him. Canonically, roughly grabbing him by the hair or unwarranted physical contact activates his fight or flight instincts. That aside, the prospect of his younger sister being in danger/dying and any mention of the Shades will send him into an unyielding rage.
♚ POWERS: I don't know how to describe the fuckshit that are his OP canon powers so I'm just going to do this another day...

♚ BACKTAGGING: Yes, please. I backtag to hell and back myself.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: It depends. In a serious context, no.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: I'm all for it. So long as he knows, he's absolutely fine with it. Ask the guy for a hug whenever and ye shall receive. If he doesn't know, however, he may get a bit violent on reflex! That's fine with me oocly, personally.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: The guy lives to fight. He's a rather proficient warrior, something of a one man army in canon who specializes in katanas, great swords, spears and axes. He has a very bad case of repressed rage and is down for a good fight whenever and wherever. Hit 'em.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm not opposed whatsoever and am open to both m/f and m/m. Just be aware that he's exceptionally oblivious to his own feelings and will most definitely not recognize yours or his own unless you scream in his face. It is by no means something that will come easily. My favorite canon ship for him is with Kainé and I like him with Emil under the right circumstances.

As for sexual relationships, he tends to associate the nature of sex with explicitly negative feelings. But if he likes you it can happen, sure — or if he's in a bad place and looking to self destruct. Kinks here, if that’s what you’re angling for.
